Why we NFED!
The National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias is so many things to us. They are most importantly a family that understands us like no one else can! They are a shoulder to cry on, an endless resource for doctors and dentists, a best friend, a comfortable “normal”, and a hope for a better future!
We are so close to a cure for XLHED, which is what Weston has, and every little bit of fundraising helps us toward this cure! The NFED does so much for so many families and we are more than happy to give back a small part of what they give us
Here is what each dollar raised means to the NFED
| $50 | Pays for a Registration fee for a family to attend a Regional Family Conference. |
| $100 | Covers the Registration fee for a child to attend Kids Camp at the NFED National Family Conference. |
| $250 | Is the cost for an air conditioner to cool a child’s room or play area. |
| $500 | Provides medical supplies and nutritional support for a child with skin erosion. |
| $1250 | Pays for a child’s wig. |
| $2500 | Creates an actual smile! This is the cost for a set of Pediatric dentures. |
